SRV: initiated file on 12/14/2017 Goal: aggregate metadata not captured in raw data directories ELEVATIONS/ALTITUDES From Val's notebook (via 04 Sep 2017 email to Scott): NEMES is 9'4" above ground and ~27' above white spot, white spot is ~9' above high tide. This makes the NEMES about 36' or ~11 m above high tide or about 13 m above low tide. I have a python program that can give Hanbury Point heights at any time you specify (GMT in one file and local time in another). It does a look-up in a 6min height file that I created and then downloaded from NOAA. https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/noaatidepredictions.html?id=9449828&units=metric&bdate=20170901&edate=20171001&timezone=GMT&clock=12hour&datum=MLLW&interval=6&action=data I believe that Rob and Erin et. al. used their phones' GPS's to get the height of the theodolite and the height of the 'white spot'.
